OT:Pipex email problems??

Anyone use Pipex and having problems with receiving email via Outlook
Express? I haven't been able to receive mail since Saturday night!

It's fine for me. Have you tried using webmail from their homepage?

I had issues of getting so far into downloading and it crapping out. Ended
up going in via the web and clearing the spam out.

I had issues of getting so far into downloading and it crapping out. Ended
up going in via the web and clearing the spam out.

Same thing has happened to me a few times just lately, it seems to start
downloading and then stop part-way through. Only solution seems to be
going to web mail and deleting all the spam there, make sure you "purge
deleted" as well otherwise it still doesn't work.

None here, and I get ~550 spam mails per day across 7 accounts - only
Tesco gets less spam (1 in its entire life) than Pipex (3-4 per day)
though, btinternet / virgin / lineone are feckin` AWFUL and account for
the rest.

No problems with my account but a friend says he has mail that is missing -
last time - somehow his e-mail addy had been reset to his "original addy"
they give you and not the "alias" addy he had set up.

Try logging in using the original acct they gave you.

I got rid of all the spam by logging in via their website and now OE works
fine :)

This happened to me a couple of times last week, it turned out to be a
couple of dodgy spams that were stopping the rest of the mail being
downloaded, I sorted it by going to the netmail page on the pipex site and
deleted the offending mail from there which then allowed me to download the
rest. Hope this helps.
